Monitor your cold chain and act before the loss.
Capture connects sensors in your cold rooms, freezers and refrigerators to Zeltask. It measures in real time, alerts you when a point goes out of range, and every excursion opens a ticket in Zeltask, with an owner and follow-up until it is closed.

Control of your cold chain, connected to your team
Capture turns the temperature at every point into alerts, tickets and evidence inside your operation.
24/7 temperature, no paper logs
Every critical point measured in real time, without anyone logging readings by hand.
You find out in time
When a point goes out of range, the alarm reaches the person in charge, not the end of the shift.
No alarm left hanging
Every excursion opens a ticket in Zeltask with an owner and follow-up, and can lead to a corrective action.
Audit-ready evidence
Time-stamped reports per point, with factory-calibrated sensors, ready for the food safety inspector.
Flexible hardware model
Depending on the size of the project, the equipment is provided on loan or you buy it.
Measures product, not air
The buffered probe measures product temperature, so you get fewer false alarms.
See every cold point as it is now, not as it was yesterday
Temperature is usually checked once or twice per shift with a thermometer and a paper log. Between readings, nobody knows what happened. If a cold room lost temperature overnight, you find out when the product is already compromised.
Capture measures every control point continuously: live temperature, that unit's alert band and the day's history. It also checks that the sensor keeps reporting: if a point stops sending data, it is flagged as “no signal”, because a silent sensor is a risk too.
The alarm doesn't end with a notification, it opens a ticket
A sensor that only sends a notification leaves the job half done. Someone has to see the message, decide what to do, do it, and then prove it was done. In practice, that trail gets lost between shifts and WhatsApp messages.
Because Capture is part of Zeltask, the excursion opens a ticket in Zeltask with an owner and follow-up. When the case calls for it, the ticket leads to a corrective action with time-stamped evidence, in the same system where you already manage inspections and maintenance. What the sensor detects and what the team does stay connected.
-
Temperature excursion
A point crosses its threshold for a sustained period.
-
Alarm to the person in charge
Immediate alert through the configured channel.
-
Ticket in Zeltask
With an owner and follow-up until it is closed.
-
Corrective action, if needed
The ticket can lead to an action with time-stamped evidence.
Evidence builds itself while you operate
Preparing for an audit usually means gathering paper logs, filling gaps from memory and explaining inconsistencies against the clock. The problem isn't the work that was done, it's rebuilding the evidence afterwards.
Capture generates the report from the data it has already captured: per point, with minimums and maximums, average, MKT (mean kinetic temperature), excursions and compliance percentage. As a PDF for audits or Excel for analysis, always in the site's time zone. Download it whenever you want or schedule it to arrive by email.
| Control point | Min | Max | MKT | Compl. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freezer room | -21.4 | -16.8 | -18.9 | 100% |
| Kitchen freezer | -19.2 | -13.1 | -17.2 | 98.3% |
| Refrigerator 1 | 1.8 | 5.1 | 3.4 | 100% |
| Refrigerator 2 | 2.1 | 6.9 | 4.2 | 99.1% |
| Anteroom | -2.0 | 3.3 | 0.9 | 100% |
Know whether the device is fit to record
Monitoring only works if the sensor is working. A dead battery or a downed gateway leaves a blind spot, and the worst part is not knowing.
Capture separates two things that are often mixed up: product temperature, which is what gets audited, and device health, which tells you whether it was fit to record. Battery, signal and last reading always in view, with an alert when something needs attention.
- Battery · Refrigerator 1 3.6 V · OK
- Signal · Freezer room -71 dBm
- Battery · Kitchen freezer Low · check
- Last reading · Anteroom 6 min ago
Monitoring that connects to your operation
It's not a thermometer with an alarm. It's the cold chain layer of the platform you already use.
Less waste
You catch temperature loss while you can still act, not after the fact.
Compliance without rebuilding
Evidence is created as you operate, with factory-calibrated sensors and time-stamped records.
Fewer false alarms
The probe measures product and the rules filter out brief spikes, so an alarm means something.
Fits your project
Depending on the size, equipment is provided on loan or purchased. You choose the hardware model.
Not a standalone sensor, a monitoring service
Hardware, software, connectivity and support, in one installed service.
Hardware
Sensors and gateway
On loan or purchased, depending on the project. Critical points use a product temperature probe, with sensors that are lab-tested and factory-calibrated.
Software
Zeltask platform
Live monitoring, rules per point, compliance reports and the connection to inspections, tickets and actions.
Connectivity
Network and backup
Long-range network for the whole site, with a gateway and backup connectivity, so an outage doesn't leave you blind.
Support
Installation and service
On-site survey, commissioning, maintenance and support, including the shift that handles alarms in the middle of the night.
From paper logs to connected control
Before
- Temperature is written down by hand, once or twice per shift.
- Between readings, nobody knows what happened to the cold.
- Losses are discovered when the product is already compromised.
- Audits are prepared by gathering paper logs and explaining gaps.
With Capture
- Every point is measured in real time, no manual logging.
- An excursion alerts the person in charge as soon as it happens.
- Every alarm opens a ticket with an owner and follow-up until it is closed.
- The report is already done when the audit comes.
What people usually ask
It depends on the size of the project. In many cases the sensors and gateway are provided on loan, with no equipment investment. In larger projects it may make sense to buy them, and then it is an equipment investment. We define it together in the proposal.
Capture is the cold chain layer of Zeltask and is used together with the platform. That's the advantage: a sensor alarm doesn't sit in isolation, it opens a ticket in Zeltask with an owner and follow-up, in the same system.
Yes. Reports are time-stamped per point, in the site's time zone, with excursions recorded, and the sensors are factory-calibrated. If your audit requires an accredited calibration certificate for each sensor (for example, ISO/IEC 17025), note that it is not included as standard; ask us about it. Capture doesn't replace your HACCP plan or the inspector; it provides the evidence to demonstrate control.
Critical points use a buffered probe that measures product temperature, not air. It reacts to real, sustained temperature loss and produces fewer false alarms than an ambient sensor affected by compressor cycling.
The installation includes backup connectivity and a gateway, and Capture flags as “no signal” any point that stops reporting, so a silent sensor never passes for “all good”.
Today alerts arrive by email. WhatsApp alerts are in development.
It depends on the number of points and sites. It includes the on-site survey, installation and configuring the rules for each point, so the system reflects how your cold chain operates from day one.
